Okruglice, Knedle (Plum Dumplings)
Prepare the dough similar to the valjusci dough: Boil and peel about two pounds (1kg) of potatoes. While still warm add about half a pound (1/4kg)of flour, two ounces (5dag) of butter, two eggs and salt. Knead the dough and roll it out, but not too thin. Cut into squares. Put a plum (Italian plum or use one half of a regular plum) without pit on each square and wrap into a dumpling. Boil the plums in salted boiling water for about 10 to 15 minutes. Serve spinkled with fried bread crumbs and sugar.
