Fritule (Fritters)
Mix one pound (1/2kg) of mashed potatoes with 2 beaten eggs, two spoons of sugar and lemon peel. Add some brandy or rum and vanilla sugar. Mix in dry yeast and half pound (1/4kg) of flour. Mix occasionally adding warm water, leave in warm place for 45 minutes. Heat oil and add a spoon of the dough at the time into the oil. Boil them while turning until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
